Precept Ministries - A Brief History
Precept Ministries International is a Christian Ministry that was started by Jack & Kay Arthur in 1970.  The Ministry is now in 120 Countries and produces Bible Studies in 70 languages.  The Canadian arm of the ministry is separately incorporated (Precept Ministries Inc.) and has its own Canadian board of directors.  Jack Arthur the president and Pete De Lacy from Precept Ministries International (USA) sit on the Canadian Board.

The Canadian arm of Precept Ministries networks with Pastors, churches, Christian schools, ministries & individuals. Experienced Precept trainers teach workshops that disciple people how to study the Bible and trains Bible and Sunday school teachers.  The ministry also offers conferences for men, women & teens which always include a Bible study skills component.

Churches and individuals from across Canada can order inductive Bible study resources through our on-line catalogue or by calling or visiting our bookstore in Brantford, Ontario.

Precept Ministries is a not-for-profit charitable organization which is registered with Revenue Canada. We are also members of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities, the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada and the Christian Booksellers Association of Canada.

Approximately 12% of our income comes from workshops and conferences, the sale of Bible studies and Bibles account for approximately another 50% and the balance, 38%, comes from donations to the ministry.
